God LOVES you more than anything.

Have you ever wondered whether you can know God personally? The fact of the matter is, you CAN know God. In fact, He has revealed Himself in many ways and at many times throughout the history of the world, because God is a personal God, and He wants YOU to know H.I.M. God most clearly revealed Himself to mankind in the Person of Jesus Christ. That is to say, God became a Man in the Person of Jesus, and He proceeded to live a perfect life. That means He never sinned, not even once! And because Jesus never sinned, He did not deserve to die. Yet nevertheless, He chose to die on a Roman cross to provide a substitutionary atonement for the sins of the world.

"Subsitutionary atonement" simply means that although you and I deserve to die for our sins and spend eternity separated from God in a place called hell, Jesus died in our place, thereby making it possible for us to know God personally, and also making it possible for us to spend eternity WITH God in glory. So how can you and I know God personally? Well, Jesus said it best in John 14:6: "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." The Bible also says that "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

There are two verses from the Bible that share the story of the gospel (that is, the "good news" of Jesus Christ) in a nutshell: John 3:16 | "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." Romans 6:23 | "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." If you're unsure as to whether or not you have eternal life, or if you'd like to make the most important decision of your life simply...

turn from your sins and trust Jesus and what He has done for you on the cross. Believe that He died to save you and rose again to give you eternal life. You can express this belief in a simple prayer, offered from a sincere heart…
